Lexington, SC – Josephine Davis passed away peacefully at Carroll Campbell Place on December 14, 2021. She was born in Great Falls, SC on December 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Viola Dabbs. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy S. Davis.
Surviving are her three daughters, Debbie Paisley (Bobby) of Morganton, North Carolina, Nancy Conley (Chris) of El Dorado Hills, California and Kathy Snooks of Columbia, South Carolina; granddaughters, Rebecca Paisley, Caitlin Conley, Lindsay Egan (Chris) and Meagan Snooks; grandsons, Robert Paisley (Cathy) and Zachary Conley; great granddaughter Lucy Paisley.
Josephine was a loving wife, mother and friend. As many expressed she would give the shirt off her back to help others. May her goodness, her caring and wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with us. You carried us in your heart all these years, now we will always carry you in ours. “Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14.
