Memorial service for Joy Goodwin Drennen, 82, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Mrs. Drennen passed away Sunday, February 07, 2016. Born in Birmingham, AL, she was a daughter of the late Wylie and Margaret Goodwin. Mrs. Drennen was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She retired following 26 years of service as Managing Editor with the South Carolina Medical Association.
Surviving are her son, Mark (Teresa) Drennen; daughter Karen (John) Chiles; grandchildren, Alex Drennen, Melanie Drennen, Haley Chiles, Jenna Chiles and Katie Chiles. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Gray.
