

Funeral service for Julia Ann Manheim, 77, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at St. Andrews Baptist Church. Pastor Ronald “Dee” Vaughan will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Travis Park Cemetery, Saluda. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo is assisting the family.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late McDuffie Johnson and Ethel Lou Coleman Johnson. She was the wife of the late Carl M. Manheim. Julia Ann was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with the children’s ministry and also planned and directed weddings for several years. She retired from Richland Memorial Hospital.
She leaves behind a legacy of friends and family all of whom she loved dearly, including her sister, Kay Johnson Ruff, of Saluda; nephew, Ken Ruff and wife, Lisa; niece, Lea Ann Ruff Sorensen and husband, Stephen, of Roebuck; grand-niece and grand-nephews, who were like grandchildren to her, Coleman Ruff, John Ruff, Tyler Sorensen, Lydia Sorensen, Jesse Sorensen and David Sorensen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Home Instead, Agape Hospice, and her personal nurse, Trina Gibson for their excellent care and compassion during her homebound years.
