Julius "Jay" Adam Gamble Jr.

Julius "Jay" Adam Gamble Jr. passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born in Kingstree, SC, he was the son of the late Julius Adam Gamble, Sr. and Thelma Richburg Gamble.
He attended Spartanburg Methodist College and Francis Marion College. Jay started working with Goodyear and has worked in the Automotive Industry for over 40 years. He was a member of New Kirk Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and was an avid Gamecock fan. He enjoyed life to the fullest and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered as the life of the party.
Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Rhonda Gamble; son, Chad Gamble (Tara); daughter, Torri Gamble (Jonathan); grandchildren, Reagan Barnette and Trent Gamble; sister, Elaine Gamble Moore; and cousin, Dr. Troy Gamble.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Gamble Cooper.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
