Kaseem R. Vauls was a beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend whose life brought light, love, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was born on January 5, 2002, to William Vauls and Devon Leebrick.
Kaseem played football and graduated from Irmo High School in 2021. He continued his education in college, where he played football at Alabama A&M University and Jackson State University. Football was one of the many passions that reflected his dedication, strength, and determination.
Kaseem loved spending time with his family, watching movies, playing football, joking around with his siblings, and helping anyone in need. He had a heart of gold and cared deeply for others.
He always wanted to protect and support his family, encouraged people to do better, and wanted the very best for everyone around him.
His positive spirit was an inspiration to all. Kaseem was the sunshine in many people's days.
His smile could brighten any room, and his laughter, goofiness, and kind heart made every moment more special. He was an angel here on earth, bringing comfort, encouragement, and happiness wherever he went.
His faith was unmatched. He believed in God with all his heart and knew that, with prayer and faith, anything was possible.
Kaseem leaves to cherish his memory are his parents, William Vauls and Devon Leebrick; his brothers, Khalil Leebrick, Kamal Vauls, Kenneth Vauls, Kieron Vauls, Kishon Vauls, and Kruz Vauls; and his sisters, Kimora Vauls and Kehlani Vauls. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandmother, Rhonda Lewis, affectionately known as Nana; his Grammy, Leigh Leebrick; his great-grandmothers, Deborah Wilson-Roach and Gloria Williams; and his close friends, Julian, Amere, Johnny, Alison, Lea, Nick Emmanwori, and Sings. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his best four-legged friend, his dog, Brooklyn.
Kaseem's love, faith, laughter, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit will continue to live through the family and friends he loved so dearly.
