IRMO Memorial service for Linda C. Daves, 67, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Mrs. Daves died Friday, December 18, 2015. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she retired from the S.C. Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and participated in Relay for Life each year as a cancer survivor. Surviving are her husband, Richard A. Daves; two sons, Theodore “Ted” Garus (Karen) of Buffalo, N.Y., Robert Garus of West Seneca, N.Y.; and grandsons, Mitchell, Kyle and Alex Garus.
