Dedicated, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend; Lisa was a woman who fulfilled many roles for countless different people, giving each of them every part of her heart, soul, and passion.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gregory B. Davis of Irmo, SC; two children Brenton Davis (son) of Charleston, SC and Breyonna Davis (daughter) serving in Benin, West Africa; a dear friend and God Mother to the children, Pamela (Daniel) Lewis of Indian Head, MD; three sisters Maxine Porter, Margaret (Aaron) Smith both of Greenville, MS, and Patricia Gales of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Jerry (Pat) Jackson of Jackson, MS; an adopted sister Maxine (Kevin) Reed of Cincinnati, OH; five nieces; five nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Throughout her 20 years of military service and civilian career, Lisa formed several long lasting bonds and will be greatly missed by her special friends Bernadette Wright of Florida; Tina (MIlton) Connally and Tina Clarke, both of San Antonio, TX; and an immeasurable number of friends and extended family.

A lover of all life and people, Lisa shared her nurturing spirit through her work as a nurse practitioner. Even in passing she leaves behind a profoundly tangible legacy that warms the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. She may not be present physically but her love and spirit will continue to live on, in and around, all who knew her.

I am so very sorry for the loss of such a great person. Your family has been nothing short of wonderful for me, my Mother, and our family. Thank you for all the times you babysat me, thank you for being the reason that I can't drink OJ unless it has pulp in it, and thank you for being such an amazing friend to my Mother. I also thank you for planning to attend my wedding; your spirit will be with us going forward ❤😇

Life is a gift from God. Although today is filled with hardship, sadness and loss. Keep loving memories of Lisa alive in your heart. I met Lisa twice through my favorite neice, Pamela Dixon Lewis, who always gave me glowing reports about the successes of her two god children., their graduations, Peace Corp acceptance, etc.
Please know that I care and wish you God’s protection and guidance. Love, Esther Onaro

Deeply sorry for your loss. We only met Lisa twice, but felt connected to her and your family through warm stories shared by our cousin, Pamela Lewis, godmother of her children. Hopefully it is encouraging to know that her kind spirit touched many people. May time and loving memories comfort you during this difficult time.
Love,
Jonathan, Yulanda & Njoya
