Lisa built a successful and industrious career as a sales representative for multiple industries, in which her people skills and knack for relationship building paved the foundation for many mutually-beneficial endeavors. She married Bryon Dolan on June 10, 2000, and they shared 26 memorable years together.
Lisa was known, first and foremost, for her love of the Lord, followed by her joyous sense of humor, her perpetual smile, her unshakable optimism, and her never-ending encouragement of others. Lisa’s friendships were characterized by tremendous love and undying loyalty, and those lucky enough to call her a friend were like family. She loved and cared for her animals with exceptional depth, as her own children, especially her horses, Gideon, Sunny, and Bolero, with whom she explored many trails. She loved and was well-known for shag dancing, which she learned from her brother, Gary, at a young age. She was passionate about sharing the Word of the Lord, and especially took joy in her missionary work with Hope for the World India, with its primary mission to help millions of orphaned children.
She is survived by her husband, Bryon; her stepchildren, Shannon, Sheena, and Sean; her older sister, Diane Scott; her older brothers, Gary Scott and Sammie Scott (wife Denise); and her nieces, Jennifer and Kendra (daughter Paisley), and nephew, David (daughter Claudia and son Wynn).
A celebration of life will be held on July 9th at 2:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home – Dutch Fork Chapel, located at 7600 Woodrow St., Irmo, SC 29063.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hope for the World India - online: http://hftwindia.org//index.php?id=10 or mail to: Hope for the World India, P.O. BOX 835, Hartwell, GA 30643.
