Margaret Fulmer Haltiwanger

CHAPIN - Services for Margaret F. Haltiwanger, 96, will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens, Columbia. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the fellowship hall of the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. Haltiwanger died Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Oliver Wheeler and Mamie Brown Fulmer. She retired from S.C. National Bank (now Wells Fargo). She was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Galloway (Brooks) of Irmo and Linda Krause (Maxie) of Greer; grandchildren, Ryan Galloway (Cathy) of Chapin, Kevin Krause of Greer, and Jennifer Leach (Fred) of Chapin; great-grandchildren, Elliott and Mackie Leach, and Shelbey Jumper. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie D. “Jack” Haltiwanger; and her sister, Mary Sappington. Memorials may be made to Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church, 101 East Boundary St., Chapin, SC 29036.
