Marjorie Cecile McCollam

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marjorie Cecile Moody McCollam, 90, will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, with burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.

Mrs. McCollam died Saturday, June 16, 2018. Born in Newton, MA, she was a daughter of the late Stanley C. Moody and Catherine Skiffington Moody. She worked as a secretary for Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church until she retired. She enjoyed genealogy, reading, and being a part of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church choir.

Surviving are her two sons, David S. McCollam (Karina) and Michael E. Carr (Donna); daughter, Irene G. Ward (Kenny); stepdaughter, Rebecca Flanagan (Richard); stepson, Tony McCollam (Georgia); and eight grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Edward McCollam.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, a Columbia family shelter, or a Catholic charity of one’s choice.
