Patricia Mason Fabian

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Patricia Mason Fabian, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Chapin United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.

Patricia passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was dedicated to those she loved. With a big heart, she lived a life of service, and gave 110% to everything she did.

Patricia retired from AT&T after 38 years. She served as the Telephone Pioneer South Carolina Chapter President in 1989. Patricia also served in the Council on Aging, Habitat for Humanity, South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, Chapin Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Columbia. She received the Women of Achievement Award from the Governor's Office in 1985 and the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for Outstanding Service to the Community in 2002.

Surviving are her husband, John William Fabian; children, Christy Easler (Shane), Suzann Cromer (Michael), Wendy Chamberlain (LCDR Vince), Jenny Lewis (Rick); grandchildren, Mason Easler, Colton Cromer, Connor Cromer, Joseph Chamberlain, Brianna Chamberlain, Jonathan Lewis and Ashleigh Lewis Wulf; great-grandchildren, Kamden, Benjamin and Emberlynn Wulf; and many loving cousins.
