Richard was born September 23, 1963 to James and Jean Boltin in Columbia, SC. He graduated from Irmo High School and The University of South Carolina.
Richard served for 6 years in The U.S Navy Rank Navy E6 Petty Officer 1st Class. His mates and friends would meet yearly.
He is remembered by many coworkers and friends at Rogers Townsend LLC and McNair Law Firm.
Richard loved family and learning more about our Family Genealogy. He had a passion for Photography and loved going to The Carolina Baseball and Football games each year.
He is survived by two brothers, Tommy Boltin, Bobby Boltin; sister, Jeana Dobbins; aunt, Bernie Sims; six nephews; three nieces; and 14 cousins.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on May 14, 2026 at Dunbar Funeral Home Dutch Fork Chapel, followed by a funeral service at Fort Jackson Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
