Robert Anthony Cavanaugh

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Anthony Cavanaugh, a devoted father, grandfather, Army veteran, and one of the hardest-working people anyone had the privilege of knowing.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying the values of honor, dedication, and service throughout his life. After his military service, he built a career as a property manager, where he was respected for his dependability, skill, and commitment. He was also a talented handyman who could fix almost anything and was always ready to help family, friends, and neighbors. Additional career, he worked in the grocery industry as a proud union member, believing in honest work and taking pride in providing for his family.

He was the Son of the late Edward and Angela Cantoni. More than anything, he was a loving father to his children, Melissa Jacobs (Cavanaugh) Edward Jones (Tabitha), Joseph Jones (Christine), Ronald Jones (Kathy), and a proud grandfather to Nicole Jacobs, Eric Jacobs, Matt Miller, Rebecca Jones, Joshua Jones, Orion Jones, Sophia Jones. his brother, Richard C. Cavanaugh, Sr. (Lillian). He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Cavanaugh, James Cavanaugh, John Cantoni, and Edward Cantoni.

He cherished the time he spent with his family, and his love, wisdom, and unwavering support will remain with them always.

He will be remembered for his incredible work ethic, generous heart, quiet strength, and willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. His life was an example of integrity, perseverance, and love.

Though our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the legacy he built through his service, his hard work, and his devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Rest in peace. Your service, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who knew you.

Memorial Service will be held at New Life Community Center at 12:00 on July 19, 2026.
