The family is deeply saddened by Manning’s death. However, the many posts and comments and stories and the outpouring of love and support by friends and family and texts help to remind us of what a character and presence he was and are a tremendous joy and comfort at this time. Manning was a young man with strong family ties and loving relationships with his many friends and acquaintances. A generous heart and outgoing, engaging personality were his unique gifts to all who crossed his path, probably having never met a stranger. He could be talkative, conversant, argumentative, combative, funny, forthright, silly and serious, but in the end, he was Manning. He will forever be in all of our thoughts and hearts.
