Bob was born on in Teller Alaska, raised in Chicago, and lived all over the World, most recently in Irmo, SC.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frances and Edwin Mattick, brother Edwin, and sister Gale. He is survived by wife Csilla and children Michael, Teresa, David, Victoria, and Edward, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Bob was an accomplished scholar, a true Renaissance Man, a caring and entertaining friend, and most importantly a loving father and husband. He will be missed forever. Sit tibi terra levis!
