
Ron was fondly known as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, avid traveler, business mentor, pontoon captain, retail return specialist, boyhood model, and aquatic clown.
Surviving Ron are his daughters, Kimberly Wickersham (Hitchins), Kris Gallagher (Hitchins), Kathi McMahon (Hitchins), and Scott Hitchins; and grandchildren, Randi Boehm (Ferguson), Cory Ferguson, Nick Pelzer, Aaron Wickersham, Quinn McMahon, Chase McMahon, Kayci Gallagher, Ian Gallagher, Shaine McMahon, Brook Wickersham, Merritt McMahon; and two great grandchildren, Cleo Gallagher and Isla Ferguson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Donna Miller Hitchins.
The family wishes to thank Heart of Hospice for the loving care provided during his final months.

A private service will be held at a later date. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the repose of the soul of Ronald Joseph Hitchins at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the Basilica of Saint Peter in Columbia, SC.
