Sarah R. Cook

Born July 6, 1934, in Irmo, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Lamar Richardson and Marie Davis Richardson and the sister of the late Peggy Richardson Spell, the late Larry Richardson and the late Curtis Richardson. She is survived by her brother, Lamar Richardson, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband and high school sweetheart, Robert F. Cook. The couple both worked for Southern Bell/Bell South for 35 years. In retirement, Sarah and Bobby loved spending time at the beach and on their boat, aptly named "Sarah's Diamond."

Sarah and Robert were lifelong members of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Cornerstone Caregiving and Agape Hospice for the compassion and kindness they showed Sarah during her brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
