Seekshavalli passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. Born in Teddaturam, India, she was a daughter of Appa Rao and Rathnama Padagandum. She was the wife of V.N. Raju. Seekshavalli was a member of the Hindu Temple of South Carolina. She was the owner and operator of the first Indian Restaurant and Grocery Store in the state of South Carolina, Touch of India. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, movies, music and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a lover of animals, feeding others, and although she owned her own restaurant, she enjoyed eating out.
Surviving in addition to her husband, V.N. Raju, are her children, Suresh (Usha) Volate, Ramesh (Rekha) Raju, and Rathna (Jonathan Roddy) Raju; grandchildren, Vishnu, Vishal, Mira, and Devi Priya. She is also survived by two sisters, Manimala and Kumari; two nieces and numerous nephews.
