In continuance to my previous message I unfortunately am unable to attend any services due to currently being hospitalized myself. I am praying for Mrs. Sharon's family and friends during this time of loss. She was a very special woman that will remain in my heart and thoughts forever.

To my mentor, Sharon, whom became a loving friend while providing PT services to my son that was born three months premature. Over the months of watching Sharon with my son Kentlee, we started talking about life and my fear of being a new mom. She not only became my son's physical therapist but a confidant who I could talk to about anything. She was never judgemental regarding the little knowledge I possessed to raise a son. Over the next year and a half she lovingly guided me to learn, not only how to deal with his disability but on how to become a mother that my son needed. My son progressed every week to meet the age level expectations. During this time I never noticed any physical change in Sharon. She was always upbeat, excited, and full of joy when she came each week. Imagine my surprise when she told me that she was taking a little break due to medical reasons and that she would be treated by MUSC doctors who were knowledgeable with her diagnosis. She never let me know just how serious her condition was just that she needed a bone marrow transplant. We talked on and off during her stay over the phone. Kentlee wanted to see his "Mrs. Sharon" so badly. We facetimed each other one day and I could tell her condition was worsening and taking a toll on her body. She was still positive and only concerned with my son's progress with his new physical therapist. When we hung up I was concerned and angry with the disease that was ravishing her body never dreaming that it was the last I would see of my dear friend. As I look back on our last visit, my friend never gave me a clue as to her true illness only being concerned for my son and I. I have never lost anyone I cared about. Sharon is still teaching me no matter how grim it may look don't give up. She will always have a special place in my heart. Sharon was an angel that God shared with me whom unconditionally and lovingly showed me about being a mom. She is now a guardian angel for my son and I.

So sorry for your loss . Sharon will be missed dearly. Sharon had my daughter Cassidy in school for physical therapy since kindergarten. And Cassidy would give her a hard time too lol. We loved Sharon. Every time Cassidy would see Ms Sharon Sharon would say hey Cassidy it's Ms Sharon hold that head up and Cassidy would laugh and hold her head up . We will miss seeing her . And so will Cassidy

I know this is a terribly difficult time for you and the boys. The sense of loss is overwhelming and there are no clear answers to the many questions you must have. I pray that God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, will surround you and the many warm memories of Sharon will sustain you in the days ahead. Your friends and church family love you!
