We were so sad to find out that Shelley had passed away. We all have fond memories of her playing in the backyard with our boys and Donnie when they were all pre-schoolers. She was adorable and fun and sweet. We all send our condolences and sympathy at this very difficult time.

I will always remember Shelley for her sweet demeanor and willingness to help anyone. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We talked often after I lost my son Nick in 2012 and she brought me much comfort. I was sorry to see her leave SCEL.
If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever.

Rest in peace sweet Shelley.

I am so sorry to hear about Shelley's passing. Shelley worked for my late husband, Tom Marsh, when she was at the SC Education Lottery. She was so kind and helpful to me when I lost Tom to cancer in March of 2013. We became instant friends and she was always in touch with me during Tom's illness. Tom thought Shelley was the best Secretary and he was very impressed with her conscientious professional aspirations. Rest in peace, sweet Shelley, and give Tom a Big hug from me. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. I know how difficult it is losing someone so close to you. Kathie Marsh

May God give Donnie, Krysta, Sara, Bryan and the family peace and comfort during this time. I enjoyed reconnecting with her even if it was for a short time, it was so good to see her smiling face and that gorgeous red hair. She was always so gentle and kind in school and was a pleasure to be around. Until we meet again, friend. Rest in Peace. You will be missed.

Shelly was a great friend back when we were kids. Probably between 13 and 14. I would Call It Puppy Love. We had spent countless hours talking on the phone and we were good enough friends that I knew her brother Donnie. I actually ran into him a lot more over the years then I did her although we did talk here and there when our paths crossed. It's what sucks about getting older is that you begin to lose things. You lose friends, family members, pets, Etc. While we were completely innocent she is probably my first memory of being interested in girls. We used to actually hang out inside of Dutch Square. Losing a friend always hurts even if it's an old friend. I truly hope you can rest in peace and my prayers are with your family and friends.
