Tisha was a bright light with a big heart -- hilarious, warm, and full of surprises. She was the kind of person who could turn an ordinary moment into a story -- usually with everyone laughing by the end.
A spiritual person with an open heart, Tisha was always thinking of others and sharing her happiness with everyone she encountered. That generous spirit extended especially to animals. She loved all living things and had a special place in her heart for caretaking animals in need.
Creativity was part of who she was. Tisha studied Arts and Design, and she was a gifted artist who enjoyed making all kinds of art throughout her life. She also found deep joy in wildlife photography -- especially photographing birds-- with a patient eye for beauty and a genuine delight in the natural world.
Tisha touched the lives of many as an artist, photographer, sponsor, mentor, and friend. She was also the devoted owner of two beloved dogs, Birdie and Cooper, who brought her constant joy.
She is survived by her husband, Kent Koehn; her daughters, Anaise Koehn and Taylor Koehn; her brother, Sean Traxler; and Grandson, Maxwell Koehn. Tisha will be missed dearly and remembered always for her laughter, her kindness, and the light she brought into so many lives.
Instead of sending flowers to the family, please send a gift donation in her name to the Avian Conservation Center. https://thecenterforbirdsofprey.org/donate/
