The family of Ginger Travis respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember her life at three o’clock on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service and will continue until the hour of service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo will be handling arrangements.
Ginger, age 48, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Irmo, SC, Ginger is a daughter of Mary Alice (Hensley) O’Cain and the late Henry Louis O’Cain. She is of the Lutheran faith and completed her Catechism at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, SC, where she was a member. Ginger loved handy work, candy making, knitting, crocheting, Mod Podge and painting. She was a very artsy person.
In addition to her mother, Ginger Travis leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband of 22 years: Albert Travis, of Erwin; aunt: Clarice Birddie Hensley, of Irmo, SC; brothers, Pat O’Cain, of Gambrills, MD, Eddie O’Cain, of Irmo, SC; sisters: Theresa Laroe, of Irmo, SC, Clarissa O’Cain, of Irmo, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.
