COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Vu “Tony” Nguyen, 49, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Nguyen died Monday, September 5, 2016. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he was a son of Lan and Lung Thi Nguyen. A graduate of Dreher High School, he was co-owner of Seven Oaks Auto Repair. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Surviving are his wife, Melisa J. Wright; sons, Brandon Nguyen, Nicholas Nguyen, Christopher Areheart; daughter, Danielle Koopman; grandchildren, Hayleigh, Charlee, Bryson; his parents of Columbia; brother, Minh Nguyen (Tocan), Thang Nguyen (Lien), Van Nguyen (Michelle); and sister, Kim Phan (Tinh).
