Miss Wanda Jean Morton died May 29, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center. Wanda was born July 2, 1956, in Lexington County. She was the oldest daughter of the late Rosie Lee Coleman Harris-Tucker. Ms. Morton was a graduate of Irmo High School class of 1975. She was employed at the Irmo McDonald’s for 38 years where she eventually retired. There, all her customers knew her as “Ms. Wanda” and adored her. That distinct voice would always bring a glimpse of happiness to those she had the opportunity to serve.
Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings, Sister; Alfreda Joan (David) Elam and Bessie Joyce Harris, both of Irmo South Carolina. Brothers Spencer Jerry, Stephen Terry and Stacey Kerry Harris all of Irmo South Carolina. One Uncle, Karl Harris of Columbia, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and dear friend. All whom will miss her dearly
A Memorial Service will be held at Dunbar Funeral Home, 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo SC 29063 on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00PM.
