Agustin Rodriguez

Passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Anita; four children, Maria Castillo “Mrs. V”, Yolanda Rodriguez, Agustin Rodriguez Jr. and Martina Cuellar; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Mr. Rodriguez was born to Miguel and Francisa Rodriguez in Silao Guanajuato, Mexico. He came to Jackson in 1957, where he raised his family and retired from Hayes-Albion after 33 years of service. He played baseball for the Jackson Pirates, sang in the church choir and enjoyed music and dancing. He was a proud family man and will be greatly missed. Prayer service will be at the funeral home at 10:30a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Chapel at 11:00a.m. with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00p.m. Mr. Rodriguez will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
