

Age 72, passed away on April 29, 2013 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David White. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith and step-father Harry Mohney, and father Jack Seger. Anita is also survived by brothers, Harry (Diane) Mohney of Grand Haven, MI and Bill (Nancy) Mohney of Jackson; sons Jeff (Jill) White of Manchester MI, Eric (Amy) White and David White of Jackson; grandchildren Alec, Erica, Amanda, Aiden and Sadie. Anita Marie Seger was born in Michigan Center on May 9, 1941. She married David White on February 25, 1961 and moved to Vandercook Lake in 1962, where she lived with David until her death. She raised her three sons from her Vandercook Lake home. Anita and David owned and operated the Jackson Coney Island for over 27 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading, bowling, puzzles, and being outdoors working in her garden and pond. She loved animals, especially her two pomeranian dogs. Anita had a wonderful sense of humor and made many friends from all walks of life over the years while working at the Coney Island.
She was a selfless person, quick to help others in need. She will be greatly missed by family and all who knew her.
Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with final expenses will be appreciated.
