Arthur was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 4, 1931 to Arthur Cleland McGee, Sr. and Virginia Romberg (Rounds) McGee. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Martha and Helene
Arthur worked as a draftsman for GM and later as a sales representative for Curtis Publication from where he later retired.
Over the years, he and his confidant and partner in life, Marjorie Town, enjoyed many travels and adventures before and eventually after their retirements. Their move to Florida was the highlight of their life together. Florida was home for them for over 25 years and provided them many memories and a happy life. They moved to Jackson, Michigan two years ago to be closer to family.
