Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karolee Hamisfar; two daughters, Candice (Kari) Lentz and Marcie; his ONLY granddaughter, Cassandra Lentz; siblings, Darrell (Linda) Hamisfar, Jr., Nancy (Del) Kroeker and Tim (Susan) Hamisfar. Bill was born in Jackson, Michigan on October 1, 1946 to Darrell and Gertrude Hamisfar. He attended Jackson Public Schools. He worked for Davy Tree Service for three years and then retired from the Rail Road after 36 years of service. He loved old cars and riding his motorcycles and his side job, working at the Classic Appearance Car Wash in Vandercook. He enjoyed hanging out with his “homies” at the Virginia Coney Island, where they met up daily. Bill was a loving family man and a great friend to many. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (406 First Street, Jackson 49201) for visitation on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
