Billy Lee Gibbs

Of Jackson, MI passed away too soon on August 27, 2021, at the age of 55. Billy was born at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, on June 29, 1966, to parents Don and Sherry Gibbs. He graduated from Dansville High School where he won 1st in state for Wrestling. He then served in the Marines. Billy was a great auto body and painting specialist, which placed him in Hot Rod Magazine. He also drove semis and build steps and railings. Billy had his own seal coat/asphalt business. He is survived by his four children Cody Gibbs, Ryan Gibbs, Brittney (Tyler) Gibbs, and Megan Gibbs; two grandsons Josiah and Jeremiah; three step grandchildren Stephania, Harper and Frankie; parents, Don and Sherry Gibbs; sister, Tina Gibbs; fiancé, Juleen; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Junetta Bullion; cousins, Brian Bullion, Harry Gibbs and Joe Gibbs; and several aunts and uncles. Cremation has been chosen, with a Memorial/Scripture service to be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church 120 E. Wesley St., Jackson MI 49202.
