Brian Calvin Stewart

Of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 60 at home surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born in Jackson, Michigan, on April 28, 1965, to parents Raymond "Pete" and Sharon Stewart. Brian was a master of his craft, dedicating over 30 years to the construction industry, where he was widely recognized as a premier expert in roofing. He believed that if a job was worth doing, it was worth doing right - down to the final nail. While he was serious about his shingle roofing, Brian was even better at shooting the breeze. He had a gift for making people laugh and had a heart big enough to make sure everyone around him was having a good time. Brian also had a love of fishing. Brian is survived by his mother Sharon K. Stewart; only child Nikki; grandsons James, Julian, and Shawn; siblings Mark (Mary) Stewart and Karen Stewart; five nieces; seven nephews; and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond C. "Pete" Stewart. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, (1806 East Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI,) on December 30, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location, starting at 2:00 pm.
