Carol passed away in her sleep the morning of Saturday, July 16, 2022. Carol was ushered into the presence of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. This assurance was based on her acceptance by faith of Jesus' finished work on the Cross of Calvary. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence C. and Wilma J. ( Lint ) Albert; her husband, Raymond J. Wiley and younger sister, Shirley J. ( Albert ) DeWolfe.
She is survived by her younger brother and sister-in-law, Jerald W. and Lois (Goodemote) Albert. Residing with her is her niece and grand niece, Marsha and Gabrielle DeWolfe; the latter affectionately called her Aunt CeCe. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and many friends. Carol never had children of her own, but her and Raymond opened their home to countless others, some who just needed someone to show they cared. Carol, often provided childcare for working families even though some couldn't pay. It was her love for kids and not monetary compensation that drove her.
She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
