Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the age of 68. She is survived by her children, John W, Boyes Jr., Laura J. (Steve) Branz and Michael R. Boyes; grandchildren, Jonathon C. Boyes, Chelsee R. Boyes, Samantha J. Branz and Danielle J. Branz; two great grandchildren as well as a brother, David A Woods. Carolyn was born to Donald and Agnes Woods in Tecumseh, MI, where she graduated high school. She had an urge to help others; she retired from Meijer’s after 30 years of service and assisted many with their taxes over the years. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and spending time with family and friends. A Christian Mass celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Bob Pienta officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions to the family will be appreciated.
