One of her greatest joys was supporting her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She treasured her family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved.
To many, she was affectionately known as “Granny,” 3M's “Mean Mrs. Moe,” and “Twinkle Toes.” These names reflected the unique personality, strength, humor, and presence that made Charlene unforgettable to her family, friends, and the Jackson community. Her love, determination, and one-of-a-kind spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Charlene leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Lovies (Sammy) Barham, Evangel (Annette) Trice, Regina (Everett) Breedlove, and Letha (Laurence) Hester; Bonus children; William (Joann) Moore, Darnell Moore, Kathy Moore, Wilma Givens, Melvin Moore, Cynthia Clark, Yolanda Parson and special niece Linda Barham; 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 31 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Though Charlene has left this earthly life, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.
Rest peacefully, Granny. Your work here is done, but your love and legacy will live on
