I worked with Charles for over thirty years at Kelsey Hayes and knew him to be a friend and genuine nice guy. His smile and always happy greeting when we met will be sadly missed. Charlie rest in peace.

i remember Charlie he was at countryside were my dad was at . and him and my dad talked alot .then when we came to visit my dad  we come to visit charlie also or he was in the hall and we asked him to join us  we had a good time  charlie was always laughing  " may god bless charlie and his family."

I've known Charles for years, also Jean and Helen. My prayers go out to the family. Keep your hands in god's hand and he will give you strengh and peace.you have my family's deepest sympathy

Charles was friends with my parents.  He always had a smile.  He will be missed.

  We met Charles back in the late 60's and he was just like family, joking, laughing and love to talk; then there was this serious side of Charles, and he would sit you down and talk to you  about life, education and travelling and what to look for in people and how to be a friend, he had knowledge and wisdom. Our dad, Leon worked with Charles for years at Kelesy Hayes.

Remembering years ago when charles would always come to pontaic michigan to visit his aunt claire. charles was always a nice person who always spoke whatever was on his mind, and a person who always made you laugh. charles will be truly missed. His aunt claire was one of his favorits. I am so very glad that i got a chance to meet him.

Mr. Glover was friends with my father from working together at Kelsey Hayes.  Peace Mr Glover and thank you for coming to all my softball games in the summer supporting and cheering on the various teams I played on.  You will forever be remembered as GOOD man.

Charles and I were friends, fellow skilled tradesman @ Kelsey Hayes for many years.I shall miss Him and may he rest in peace

Charles was such a dear friend to James and me.  I had known Charles since I was a teenager.  My Dad and he were good friends too.  So many stories, so many laughs and tears.  So much fun and love we shared.  I remember Charles telling us he should have been our best man at our wedding...he was there 34 years ago. I've got pictures!  We shared a laugh just 3 weeks ago, about days gone by and the hope of the future.  So glad I stopped to see you, old friend, to share a laugh and remind you that we still love you...to get a hug and a kiss...Now I know it was 'so long'.  We'll see you again, friend.  Love always,

To Jean and the extended Family.  I married into the Glover's and it was truly a Joy to had known Charles who was actually a Family friend of ours -- The Backstroms, Hathorn, & Galloway clan.  He was such a nice person and always spoke his mine.  He was also a very loving and caring person to had known. Charlie, who knew in August of 1964 when we first met for our jobs with Kelsey Hayes that we would have grown to have a great friendship for so many years? We saw many changes there, with you at one time a union rep and then a production worker working right beside me for a long time, then you went to be a cutter grinder and turned out to be pretty good. We saw many changes but one thing that never changed was out friendship. i express my condolences to your family and loved ones and know that you are where we all are going, again you will have senority on me as i remember them calling your name first when we were hired at kelsey hayes, i always remember you never letting me forget that you had a couple of hours on me. i will always remember our friendship, good bye big charlie,,    george t. phebus   sarasota fla
