Charlotte L. Kelley

Of Jackson, MI passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born August 28, 1941 in Pleasant Lake, MI to parents Charles and Evelyn Fogg. She was raised in Pleasant Lake and graduated from Leslie High School. She married the love of her life, David R. Kelley on April 28, 1959. Charlotte loved the outdoors, sunshine, and farming. She also was an avid reader. She was a successful business owner, managing numerous residential rental properties. Charlotte is survived by her mother, Evelyn Fogg; children, Michael (Heidi) Kelley, Terri (Rick) Zdanowitz, Crystal Kelley, and Edward Kelley; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Jane Roe, Barb (Rick) Pulver, and Sharon Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Fogg; her husband of 56 years, David R. Kelley; and her sister, Ann Drake. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Edward Ross officiating. Visitation is from 11:00 AM until time of service. Charlotte will be laid to rest next to the love of her life at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
