Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the age of 84 under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at the Henry Ford Hospice Home. She will be remembered by her husband of 62 years, Nels Larson and their two sons, Kevin Larson and Mark (Connie) Larson; her grandson, Brent (Kortani) Larson; three great grandchildren, Kruze, Kennedy and Klayton. As well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Dale, Eugene and Carl Clemons and sister, Betty Lapp. Claudette was born in Jackson, Michigan on November 21, 1939 to Claude M. and Emma Louise (Terry) Clemons. After graduating from Jackson High School in 1957 she enrolled in the nursing program at W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital, and received her nursing degree from University of Detroit Mercy School of Nursing in 1960. Claudette worked for Dr. McQuillan for 8 years. She enjoyed spending her summers with family at their cottage on Long Lake. She was a quilter and made beautiful quilts. Claudette was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
