Age 60, of Rives Junction, MI, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL. Craig was born on May 27, 1957, in Jackson, MI, the son of Vangel “Van” and Elenor “Nora” Christoff. Craig graduated from Jackson High School in 1975. After high school, Craig was co-owner of the T-shirt Shop with his cousin Tommy Boadgieff. They also owned a food and T-shirt shop trailer that they took to county fairs during the summer months. Craig and Tommy would take turns traveling the fair circuit with Billy Wright and Dale Hilton. Craig would often tell many stories of the adventures they had and the many friends they made along the way. Craig later moved to Arizona after selling the T-shirt Shop. He lived there for five years working as a bricklayer, working his way up in the company becoming a foreman. Those were his “cowboy” days. Craig returned to Jackson in 1988 to buy the family business, Virginia Coney Island, from his dad upon his retirement. Craig was co-owner, and then became sole owner; he worked until he sold it in December of 2007. On March 13, 1993, Craig married Vickie Adams, his past love, and became a dad to her two daughters, Mallory and Abbey Hile. For the past three years, Craig and Vickie traveled in their RV and spent the winters together in Florida. Craig also enjoyed attending car shows and going on adventures with his son, Caleb. Craig enjoyed volunteering at church and was known as “Chef” at RV resorts. Survived by his wife, Vickie; one son, Caleb Christoff of Jackson; two daughters, Abbey (Douglas) Brunner of Mount Pleasant and Mallory (Wesley) White of Nisula, MI; nine grandchildren; his twin sister, Denise (Chuck) Parks of Parma; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elenor; his father, Vangel; and brother, Van Thomas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28th 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Demetrius Orthodox Church (3043 Seymour Rd. Jackson) with a Panikhida Service starting at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Demetrius Orthodox Church.
