Denzel Lee Charleston-Swiontek

Denzel passed at Cincinnati Children's Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2:02 pm. He was born on July 8, 2002. Denzel was a happy, entertaining, loving boy who enjoyed life to the fullest. He never once worried about himself; he always put others before himself. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He loved to watch cooking shows and he wanted one day to be a famous chef/actor/comedian. He was the most inspiring young man to many and will be deeply missed by so many. He is survived by his mother, Amanda Swiontek, Grandparents: Andrew & Mary Swiontek, Uncles: Jason, Brian & Adam, Aunts: Kary, Ashlee and Brandie, Cousins: Jared, Tyler, and Jake & Izzy. There will be a visitation Friday, February 17, 2012 from 3-6 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2 pm at the East Jackson High School Bruce E. VanEyck Auditorium. Refreshments will follow in the high school cafeteria. It has been requested by Amanda to wear casual clothes to the funeral and visitation. His favorites were skulls, funny shirts or Detroit Tiger shirts. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Denzel and Amanda Benefit account at Fifth Third Bank.
