Donald Joseph Howard

Of Jackson passed away December 1, 2012 age 87. Survived by his wife of 26 years Pearl, 6 children, Faith (Darryl) Bowser of Virginia, Daniel (Holly) Howard of Grand Rapids, Michael Howard of Jackson, Deborah (Kevin) Moulton of Canada, Edward (Karen Williams) Howard of Grand Rapids and James (Lori) Howard of Georgia, 3 step children, Sanford (Barbara) Daugherty, Kathy (Mark) Warring and Duane (Gaylene) Daugherty all of Jackson, 33 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 1 brother Robert (Anna) Howard, 1 sister Nancy Garrison. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Jessie Howard, 1 brother Herbert Howard, 2 sisters Isabel Milhausen and Joann Howard. Donald served in the Navy during WWII on the U.S.S. Nashville. He was a truck driver for REA Express for the Railroad and retired from Jackson Iron & Metal Co. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday December 3, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation Monday 9:30 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice Home in Donald Howard’s name.
