Donna Rae Raymond

Of Grass Lake, Michigan, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Donna was born in Jackson, Michigan on June 12, 1936, to parents Ray and Mildred Clevenger. A beloved and cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her, Donna will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude for the steady kindness, honesty, and thoughtful care she extended to family and friends alike.

Donna married her husband of 61 years, John Raymond, on May 10, 1958. She retired from Reynolds Insurance after many years of service, carrying herself with the same faithful dedication and quiet integrity that shaped every part of her life. For more than 50 years, Donna was a member of Loomis Park Baptist Church, where her devotion and constancy reflected a life grounded in faith and consideration for others.

Donna found joy in crochet and other crafts, and she especially enjoyed “visiting” at the kitchen table—moments marked by warmth, attentiveness, and the simple comfort of being together.

Donna is survived by her sons John Michael (Lisa) Raymond, Craig William (Jeanette) Raymond, Jeffrey Scott Raymond, Kenneth Edward (Sharon) Raymond, and Eric Steven (Racheal) Raymond; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; longtime friend Nancy Fodor; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John Raymond, her parents Ray and Mildred Clevenger, 1 brother, and 5 sisters.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Loomis Park Baptist Church (2301 N. Elm Ave., Jackson, Michigan) at 10:30 AM with Pastor Rich Zawadzki (Host) and Pastor Craig Raymond officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:30 AM until time of service. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park next to her beloved husband John.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loomis Park Baptist Church in Donna’s name (2301 N. Elm Ave., Jackson, Michigan).
