Doris M. Bunch

Of Jackson passed away peacefully on March 19, 2012 age 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles; daughter Gwen Berry; parents Albert and Blanche Syze; two brothers Lovell and Wayne; four sisters Audrey, Beverly, Harriet and Joanne. Surviving are son Gary (Stormy) Bunch; daughters Judy (Bob) Schneider, Shirley (Jerry) Cornell and Charlene Maxwell; son in law Bill Berry; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister in law Vivian (Otis) Couch and Elayne Syze; several nieces and nephews. Doris was a devoted wife and mother in caring for her immediate and extended family and friends. She worked as Secretary-Treasurer for Charles A. Burch, Inc. Doris enjoyed sports, gardening, music and playing cards. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Pisney officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice or Allegiance Hospice.
