Of Jackson, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health surrounded by his family and his dog Pearcy on December 15, 2020, age 88. He was born in Wolsey, South Dakota on August 13, 1932 to Clifford and Ruby Friese. He served in the Navy from 1951 to 1953. He worked in the construction industry and came to Jackson in 1960 to work on Hunt School and Parkside High School. He retired from A. C. Moller Construction Co. after 31 years as Field Superintendent. Survived by his son, Dennis (Roberta), one grandson, Patrick Friese, six great grandchildren, Arielle, Jessa, Kiley, Catelyn, Brooklyn and Patrick Jr., one sister, Gwen Becker-Fouse and a special friend, Clark Bisbee who was there with us at Dwayne’s side in his last hour. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jackie, son, Steven Friese, grandson, Joshua Hill, brother, Barton Friese and his parents. He loved his family, friends, and his country. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery Saturday January 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. with Military Honors.
