Dear Mike and Sandy, my memories of your dad were that of a hard working man that loved his wife and kids more than anything! He would come to Battle Creek and stay with us when he worked for my dad! He made beautiful arts and crafts which I bought on several occasions! He had a good life and was blessed with a great family! I will send money for the memorial. God bless your family! I am so sad to hear of "Grandpa Jack" passing - really the only grandpa I ever had. And although my heart breaks for my step-dad Mike, my mom Sandy, brothers TJ, Todd, and Tim, my niece Jenna, and my nephew Andrew for losing their father/grandfather/great-grandfather --- I smile knowing they all had the gift of a father/grandfather/great-grandfather that filled their live's with genuine, attentive love.

It is with sadness that we hear of Jacks passing.  He and Sylvia so generously hosted our family reunions over the years and kept the family ties knit together. Jack was a wonderful, dear, loving man.   He gave so much and never asked for anything in return.   We will all be forever grateful for all of the family reunions he hosted with his sweet wife Sylvia.  Our hearts are with his family.  He will be dearly missed.  But he is now in heaven, reunited with those he loved so much.  Sending our love and prayers.
