Of Jackson passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arthur J. “Jay” Raymond in 1957 and Russell Barcalow in 2002. She is survived by her son, John (Candice) Raymond and sister, Phyllis (Donald) Davis as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was one of seven children born to Charles Elza and Martha Frances (Graf) Schwartz in Fayette, Ohio. Her family came to Jackson when she was a child. She married, resided and raised her own family in Jackson. She had a strong Faith in the Lord and was a member of Ganson St. Baptist Church. She was a proud homemaker, loving wife and mother. Eleanor was blessed with good health and until recently, lived an active life. A service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Allen Grover officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. She will be laid to rest next to Mr. Raymond in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
