Of Jackson, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health on Tuesday, November 19, 2020 at the age of 98. In addition to her husband, Delbert Childs, she was preceded in death by her son, David; daughter-in-law, Jeanette; grandson, Tobin and sister, Juanita. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Gary and Michael (Gwen) Childs; two grandchildren, Aaron (Kim) Childs and Holly (Jason) Taber. Sh. born on Feb, 19, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward and Lula (Rice) Kline. She graduated from Jackson Tech and was employed with Western School district. Evelyn’s passions in life were summers at the Lake house with family, camping with her cousins, square dancing, bowling, painting and playing the piano. She loved her family and friends dearly and her radiant smile and warm personality will be greatly missed. According to her wishes, cremation has been selected and the are no services scheduled at this time.
