Everett Wayne Steele

Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Marie Steele. He will be remembered by his children, Tonya (Tim) Pacyna, Vonda Steele, Tammy (Antonio) Carson; five grandchildren, Gary (Tiffany) Moss, Amber and Chelsea Pacyna, Zachary Vaughn and Tiffany Moss; four great grandchildren, Franklynn, Michael, Monica and Jadynn; siblings, Harold Steele, Elwyn Steele, Marlene Miller and Dan as well as nieces nephews and many friends. Mr. Steele was born in Jackson; after his service in the United States Army he returned to Jackson where he married and raised a family. He spent most of his working career as a sheet metal worker; he worked for AIRE FLO at one time and then retired working maintenance at Cedar Knoll Care Facility. He was a hardworking, devoted family man. He will be greatly missed. A service honoring his life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Military honors.
