
Of Jackson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and in the care of Allegiance Hospice. Frances was born in Sturgis, Michigan on October 31st, 1925, spent her childhood in Pontiac, Michigan and has lived in Jackson, Michigan for sixty years. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Dwight Woodard. She is survived by her sister, Lois Lockhart of Midland; four children, Lyle (Vicky) Woodard of Myerstown, PA, Joette (Paul) Yauk of Lansing, MI, Robert (Mary) Woodard of Leslie, MI, and Jeannette Woodard of Jackson; her six grandchildren, Kate and Kelly Yauk, Kristin and Meagan Woodard, Hayley and Kyle Woodard; and one great-grand-daughter, Samantha Rose. Frances was a sweet person, loved by all who met her and devoted to her family. Frances was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson. She spent many years as the dedicated coordinator of Meals on Wheels. Frances was a supporter of several charities including The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson and Meals on Wheels. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church 743 W. Michigan Ave. Friday 3:00 p.m. with Reverend John A. Toth officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Friday 2:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Jackson and Meals on Wheels.
