Frank L. Gawlik -

Of Jackson, passed away at his home, under the care of his family, on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 70. He is survived by his two daughters, Christina Gawlik and Mellissa (Ellen) Gawlik-Geist; three grandchildren, Colton Grant, Maicee and Zakhry Patrick; two great grandchildren, Aubbrhi and Rhaegan Patrick; brother, Jerry (Thelma) Gawlik as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Frank was born in Jackson on April 1, 1948 to Walter and Neoma (Drefke) Gawlik. He attended Hanover-Horton Schools and after serving in the United States Army he returned to Jackson where he raised a family and was employed with General Products for 40 years. He was an avid College/NFL Football fan and watched whenever he could. He felt deep joy and found a sense of satisfaction being with his friends and family on the lake creating fun and wonderful memories. Frank treasured his lake life and 2 small dogs who were his constant companions and brought a great contentment to his daily life. According to his wishes cremation has been chosen and a memorial visitation will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

I remember going for rides on the boat, with the whole family and the dogs. I remember having bonfires. And sitting around the fire drinking a cold one listening to some good old country music. And talking about life.
You are one great man. I looked up to you. I love and miss you..... You were lije my own grandfather to me.
This is the only picture i have with me on your boat. But it is at least Ceecee, I And Monica.
