Frank Harding, age 90, of Somerset, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2025. He was born February 18, 1935 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Warren and Leona Harding.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bobbie Jean Harding and their beloved dog, Daisy, brother-in-law Gary Kittel, sister-in-law Pat Roller, a niece, and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Brad.
A proud veteran, Frank served in the United States Army for four years and was a senior member of the Civil Air Patrol. Following his service, he dedicated 25 years of his life to the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier.
Frank and Bobbie shared homes in both Michigan and Florida. He cherished the warmer weather and spent many joyful days fishing--his favorite pastime. He owned a boat in each state and especially enjoyed relaxing on his pontoon boat in Michigan, floating around the lake and casting a line from time to time.
A devoted fan of Michigan basketball, Frank rarely missed watching a game. He also remained a loyal supporter of the Detroit Lions! Frank had a deep love for his dogs and found joy in walking them daily, especially his cherished Daisy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Frank's honor to your local animal shelter.
At this time the family is not holding a funeral service.
Frank will be remembered for his loyalty, quiet strength, and the love he shared with his family, friends, and four-legged companions.
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away". Revelations 21:4
