

Of Jackson, MI passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 83. Freddie was born in Gobler, MO to parents John E. and Mary Louise (Jennings) Parker. He married Jessie Mae Parker in Gobler, MO on October 3, 1964. Freddie moved to Jackson in 1965 and worked as a tire manufacturer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber. He enjoyed travel and photography, talking to people about the Bible and playing with his grandkids and visiting with family and friends. He was baptized on June 21, 1980, and became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Freddie is survived by his wife Jessie Mae Parker; sons Michael R. Parker, Freddie L. Parker, Jr., and Bryan (Kim) Parker; siblings Robert (Elmire) Parker, Carl (Mollie) Parker, Pat Lowder, Frederick (Diane) Parker, Charles (Kip) Parker, Joyce (Melvin) Hicks, Annie (Joe) Hayward, and Anthony (Andrea) Parker; grandkids Jessika Parker, Jalyssa Weldon, Michael Parker, Dre Detmond, Jayda Parker, Talaylah Wright, and Kaiya Wright; and great grandchildren Cameron, Izzy, DeRhon, My'Leah, Mila and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Parker; siblings Evelyn Taylor, Dorothy White, Patsy Parker, Michael Ray Parker, and John Alvin Parker; grandchild Jazlynn Parker and great grandchild Tay'veir Camel. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 12:30 PM via Zoom meeting with Michael Currigan officiating thru Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses (contact family for Zoom Information). Family will receive friends on Friday, November 26, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Burden Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JW.org. Per family’s request masks will be required.
